UPDATED: Manitoba – Fisher River Cree Nation Consultation Meetings | October 27, 2022
The Manitoba government is proposing to construct two channels from L. Manitoba to L. St. Martin and from L. St. Martin to L. Winnipeg. The Project will impact Fisher River Cree Nation’s treaty and aboriginal rights, economic interests and cultural practices. Representatives of the governments of Manitoba and Canada will attend a consultation meeting at the Community Hall to provide an overview of the project and its potential impacts. Chief and Council invite everyone to join them for the presentations and discussions.
